Macintosh OS X - Configuring & changing the dialin number 

Step 1: Accessing the Network Options

1. Click on the Apple Menu. Select System Preferences.
 
 
 
 
 

2. Select Network from the Internet and Network Options.
 
 

Step 2: Changing your Dialup Number
 
 

1. Ensure that Intenal Modem is selected from the Network Status dropdown.
 
 
 
 

2. In the Telephone Number field enter 245-1288. Click Apply Now.
 
 

Step 3: Modifying Additional Settings

1. Select TCP/IP and clear any settings from DNS Servers. Click Apply Now.
 
 
 
 

2. Select Modem and ensure the settings match the below image. Make any changes needed, and click Apply Now.

You have now completed all of the neccessary changes. Please disconnect from the Internet and dial up using the new connection.
